Laptop to all IRS (C&CE) officers on service
To
All Respected Members I want to highlight the point that we do not get the service laptop in our service but other service get the same during probation even which can be carried over to their service period even. So in my view we should collectively request CBEC to consider our request for Service Laptop for every officer. Please suggest your views... Regards Lakshay

CBEC is already in the process of procuring 2594 laptops under 1% incremental revenue for giving to 70% of the working strength of Group A officers through Directorate of Logistics.

thank you sir for enlightening me...but sir why for 70% and why not for 100% group A officers??

sir as u said the scheme might have been kept in abeyance but with the implementation of ACES and where major activities of officers is through online i wish its high time that every officers are to be provided with laptop.
